The Future of Nuclear Power in New Jersey: a Discussion about Customer Support

Speaker Frank Felder, Director, Center for Energy, Economic and Environmental Policy (CEEEP)

 

With the current debate on the request for nuclear subsidies in the NJ Legislature, the Center for Energy, Economic and Environmental Policy is hosting a public presentation on The Future of Nuclear Power in New Jersey: A Discussion About Customer Support. Frank Felder, the Center’s Director, will offer a short background on the issue, followed by presentations by representatives from PSEG, Division of Rate Counsel, and NRDC. Following the presentation and a short panel discussion, there will be a Question and Answer Session.

10:00 to 10:15             Welcome/Short Background of Nuclear Issues - Frank Felder

 

10:15 to 10:40             Case for Nuclear Support – PSEG

 

10:40 to 11:05             Ratepayer Response - Stefanie Brand, Division of Rate Counsel

 

 11:05 to 11:30             Environmental Response - Dale Bryk, NRDC

 

 11:30 to 12:30             Panel of all speakers/Q&A; from audience

 

 12:30                           Adjourn
